Photos & Video: Complementary Medicine Event
An event to showcase various aspects of Complementary and Alternative Medicine approaches to healthcare was held today [June 4] at the National Sports Centre in Devonshire.
Dr. Kuni Frith previously said, ““The World Health Organization acknowledges the increased demand for Complementary and Alternative Medicine [CAM] and has issued the following definition of CAM ‘the sum total of knowledge, skill, and practices based on the theories, beliefs, and experiences indigenous to different cultures, whether explicable or not, used in the maintenance of health as well as in the prevention, diagnosis, improvement or treatment of physical and mental illness.’
