Students Present Pumpkin To Governor
Governor Rena Lalgie welcomed a group of students to Government House on May 30th.
Government House posted the photo below online, saying, “Her Excellency the Governor welcomed a core group of students to Government House on 30 May. The students have been learning about sustainable farming and harvesting as part of the Mirrors’ Field of Learning programme at Southlands.
“During the visit the students presented the Governor with a pumpkin which they had grown from pumpkin seedlings given to them by the Governor and her husband, Jacob. The group have also been providing samples of their harvest to parish rest homes across the island.”
