Advisory: Cup Match Holiday Garbage Collection
The Ministry of Public Works is advising that due to the Cup Match holiday, household waste that would normally be collected on Thursday [Aug 3] and Friday [Aug 4], will instead be collected on Saturday [Aug 5].
A Government spokesperson said, “Household waste, recycling and bulky items may also be taken to the Tynes Bay Public Drop-Off, which will be open from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on Thursday, 3rd August, and Friday, 4th August.
“Additionally, the facility will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, 5th August and from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday, 6th August.
