Inline Ball Hockey: Tropics & Islanders Win
The Bermuda Inline Ball Hockey League season continued with a double-header taking place and producing a total of 29 goals at the PCC Hockey Rink.
Southampton Sailors 4 Tuckers Town Tropics 9
In the opener, the Tuckers Town Tropics defeated the Southampton Sailors 9 – 4.
Kris Abramowski, Wyatt Hall and Adam Mattatal all scored two goals each for the Tuckers Town Tropics, who also got single strikes from Pete Brodsky, Derek Winch, and Kyan Oakley.
Mathieu Desjardins scored twice for the Southampton Sailors, with Doug Lynch and Josh Wilson both scoring a goal each.
Warwick Waves 5 St Davids Islanders 11
In the nightcap, the St. David’s Islanders defeated the Warwick Waves 11 – 5.
The St. David’s Islanders got 5 goals from Kris Abramowski, James Amaral added 4 goals, with Jeremy Estey and Bill Calko both adding a goal each.
The Warwick Waves got single strikes from Doug Lynch, Jeff Ingleman, Marcel Bouwens, Wayne Woloshyn and Seth Duerden.
