One Communications is reminding the public to keep their email addresses active.
A spokesperson said, “Do you have a One Communications email address that you are unable to log into or you are no longer receiving emails on at Northrock.bm, Logic.bm, ibl.bm or therock.bm?
“Please give us a call at 700-7000 and choose option 4 by August 14th to keep your email address active. After this date, we will be deleting inactive email inboxes as part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the utmost security for our email users.
“We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we complete this critical exercise.
“Why are we deleting inactive email inboxes?
1.Mitigating Security Risks:
“Email accounts that remain unused for a prolonged period can become vulnerable targets for various security threats, including hacking attempts, identity theft, phishing attacks, and unauthorized access. By deleting these inactive accounts, we significantly reduce the potential risks associated with such security breaches.
