Video: Wells Scores Four Goals In Friendly Match

Nahki Wells scored four goals in Bristol City’s 8-0 win over Newport County in a pre-season friendly at the Sky Bet Championship side’s High Performance Centre today [July 22].
The Bermuda forward netted two goals in either half and helped create Sam Bell’s opener against their League Two opponents.
Alex Scott struck twice and Zak Vyner was also on target for City, who are unbeaten in their pre-season campaign.
A report on the Bristol World website described Wells as a “man on a mission and exceptionally lively.”
The report added: “Conditions may have played a part, but his ball to Bell was lovely. He took one of his goals well by punishing a mistake.”
City start the season at home to Preston North End on August 5.
