Police Investigating Assault On Queen Street

August 28, 2023

Noting that there is a video clip being circulated “depicting a woman being assaulted by a male outside a business on Queen Street,” the police confirmed they are investigating the matter.

A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service [BPS] has been made aware of a video clip being circulated on social media, depicting a woman being assaulted by a male outside a business on Queen Street in the City of Hamilton.

“We wish to inform the public the matter is being investigated. In the interim, we urge that should you receive the video clip in question, do not share it, but instead delete it from your device.

“We would like to take this opportunity to remind the public that there are various agencies available that provide support and assistance to victims of domestic abuse, in a sensitive and confidential manner.

“The Bermuda Police Service has a dedicated domestic abuse officer, supported by the Vulnerable Persons Unit, that address domestic cases. Do not hesitate to call the main police number 295-0011 should you wish to report an incident.”

If the BPS runs their Vunerable Persons Unit anything like Humberside Police in Hull, UK they will set up a Victim Support charity to spy on ‘the vunerable’ and do ‘target hardening’ then invite ‘abusers to drive complainers mental.’ The police will even give you a handy dandy crime reference number but it will disappear from their files after the job is done.
