Single Lane Closure In Paget On Saturday
There will be a single-lane closure on South Road in Paget on Saturday [Aug 12].
A Government spokesperson said, “This Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will be a single-lane closure on South Road, Paget, due to the Department of Parks’ maintenance work along the sidewalk. This work shall commence on Saturday, August 12th, from 6:30 am until 2:30 pm.
“The single-lane closure will be from the junction of Lover’s Lane with South Road and continue past the junction with Stowe Hill and South Road ending at the South Road Roundabout. The lane closure will only be in the eastbound lane.
“Motorists are advised to use Stowe Hill as a Detour route to continue into Hamilton.
“There will be no lane closure to the westbound lane of South Road at this location.
“This Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.
“Should there be any questions regarding these works, please direct queries to the attention of Ms Terry-Lyn Thompson, Parks Department, on # 747-1263.”
