Swimmers Compete At Commonwealth Youth
Bermuda swimmers began competing at the Commonwealth Youth Games, in Trinidad and Tobago.
Marleigh Howes took to the pool for the women’s 50m butterfly finishing 23rd overall touching the wall in a time of 29:64, Isabella Howes finished 25th with a time of 29:80.
During the women’s 200m freestyle Isabella Howes finished 12th clocking 2:12.34, while Marleigh Howes finished 13th clocking 2:12.8.
Marleigh Howes finished 13th overall in the women’s 100m backstroke clocking 1:09.18, while Elanna Fulton finished 19th clocking 1:12.67.
Flynn Watson-Brown finished 26th overall in the men’s 50m butterfly clocking a time of 2:49.
During the men’s 200m freestyle Brandon Adkins finished 18th overall touching the wall in a time of 1:55.93, Thomas Cechini was 28th in 2:00.74.
Adkins finished 16th overall touching the wall in a time of 1:01.3 during the men’s 100m backstroke.
Cechini was 12th overall in the men’s 1500m freestyle in a time of 17:09.99.
