Temporary Lane Closure In Pembroke On Aug 29

There will be a temporary lane closure on Palmetto Road in Pembroke on Tuesday, August 29th.

A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform motorists and pedestrians that there will be a temporary lane closure on Palmetto Road in Pembroke. The lane closure is required to inspect the Glebe Road Overpass Bridge.

“Weather permitting, the lane closure will commence on Tuesday, August 29th, 2023, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and concluding at approximately 2:00 p.m.

“The public is encouraged to avoid this temporary lane closure and use alternative routes via Bishop Spencer Road, North Shore Road and Parson’s Road.

“Traffic control will be under the direction of IEPC Engineering Services Limited representatives.

“The Ministry of Public Works wishes to encourage the full cooperation of the motoring public and apologizes for any inconvenience that may result.

“Should there be any questions regarding this event, please direct queries to the attention of IEPC Structural Engineer Ricardo Graham-Ward at #536-1825.”
