Hamilton Princess Promotes Collington Perinchief
The Hamilton Princess & Beach Club promoted Collington Perinchief to the role of Preventative Maintenance Manager.
Mr. Perinchief has been with the hotel for 11 years. He began as a Houseman, until he was recruited by the Director of Engineering to join the Maintenance Team as a painter. Shortly after he was promoted to the Rooms Maintenance Supervisor, where he was able to fulfill his joy of construction and building repairs.
As the Preventative Maintenance Manager, Mr. Perinchief is responsible for all maintenance of the hotel’s interior, which includes the aesthetics of the lobby, restaurants, hallways, guest rooms and more.”
When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Mr. Perinchief responded, “I really enjoy restoring things to their natural beauty and making repairs.
“I was able to take my years of acquired craftsmanship and service, and add my personal touch to ensure that the Hamilton Princess remains pristine. A well-maintained property aids in our guests having a memorable experience.”
His love of restoration came from his hobby of building his Somerset home, bringing his old Mobylette motorbikes back to life, and fabricating RC [Radio-Controlled] aircrafts, helicopters and boats.
He also dabbled in hospitality as a teen. At 16 years old he worked at The Willowbank Resort as a pot washer and as a waiter. Later on, he accepted an apprenticeship with BTC [Bermuda Telephone Company], affording him a 25-year career in installing and managing PBX systems at large entities, including Hamilton Princess.
Awesomeness Collington!
Well done
