Smith & Couper Win Triathlon Event
Stephen Smith and Ashley Couper were crowned the male and female Olympic Distance Triathlon Champions at Clearwater Beach.
Smith covered the 1,500m swim, 40k bike, and 10k run in a time of 2:17:24, Couper was second overall with a time of 2:24:35.
Karen Smith was the second female finisher and third overall clocking 2:26:43, and Louise Wells was the third female finisher and fourth overall clocking 2:29:49.
Jeremy Shrubb was the second male to cross the line clocking 2:34:37 finishing 6th, and Ben Adolph was the third male finisher and 7th overall clocking 2:39:26.
