Charities in Bermuda are invited to apply for funding from the 2024 Convex End-to-End event, and all applications must be submitted electronically by 5pm on October 31st, 2023.
A spokesperson said, “The focus of the End-to-End remains steadfast on addressing the pressing needs of the Bermuda community. The proceeds generated from the 2024 End-to-End event will be dedicated to funding non-sectarian charitable programs in Bermuda, as well as supporting operational expenses that contribute to the preservation and improvement of the Bermuda Railway Trail, the Bermuda community and families.
“All applicants must ensure strict compliance with the regulations outlined in the Charities Act 2014 of Bermuda and maintain adherence to the industry’s Non-Profit/Charitable standards.”
Anne Mello, End-to-End Board Chair emphasized that the organization continues to seek local charities that work to support the well-being of our island: “We are dedicated to identifying charitable initiatives that contribute to the vitality of our community. Additionally, the Bermuda End-to-End takes pride in its role as a steward of the Bermuda Railway Trail, the home of our event, and we remain dedicated to enhancing and maintaining this vital island passage.”
The spokesperson said, “In 2023, the Bermuda End-to-End made a significant contribution of $215,000, shared among five charities: Bermuda Zoological Society [BZS], The Eliza DoLittle Society, Vision Bermuda, Gina Spence Productions and the Skills Development Programme.
