Cricket: Bermuda Beat Panama By Five Wickets
Bermuda claimed their fourth straight win at the ICC Men’s T20 World Americas Qualifier after defeating Panama by five wickets at the North Field, National Sports Centre, today [October 4].
The home side, who won the toss, restricted Panama to 86 for nine in their 20 overs, with captain Delray Rawlins claiming three wickets for ten and Derrick Brangman and Allan Douglas Jr taking two wickets each.
Bermuda chased down the total in just 9.1 overs for the loss of five wickets, with Rawlins scoring 33 and Douglas 23.
Bermuda, who are top of the four-team group with eight points, face the Cayman Islands at White Hill Field on Friday.
Not bad but batting has to improve young men. These are not top teams the last few games played. Five wickets are a lot. Have to het our run rate up and keep our wickets.
Congratulations but we have Canada on the weekend and need to be at our best
