Nesbeth & FSU Advance In NCAA Tournament
Leilanni Nesbeth and Florida State University [FSU] women’s soccer team claimed a 5 – 0 victory over Ohio Valley Conference Champion Morehead State in front of over 1,600 fans at the Seminole Soccer Complex.
FSU improved to 22-0-1 all-time in the first round of the NCAA tournament and to 56-2-1 at home during the NCAA tournament, now outscoring their opponents 169-23 at home in the NCAA tournament.
The team is now unbeaten in their last 18 games which is the third-longest streak in school history behind 24 games in the 2014-15 seasons and 20 games in the 2021-22 seasons. FSU also broke the school record for the longest unbeaten streak to start a season by not losing in their last 18 games.
