Smith & Hawley To Serve As Flag Bearers
Triathletes Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley will serve as flag bearers for the Pan Am closing ceremony tonight [Nov 5] in Chile.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Olympic Association is proud to announce that Tyler Smith and Erica Hawley have been chosen as the Team Bermuda Flag Bearers for tonight’s closing ceremony. They both had terrific races in the individual triathlon on Thursday and we thought it not robbery to select them as Flag Bearers.”
Julia Hawley said, “Congratulations to Erica and Tyler for being selected as flag bearers for the closing ceremony for Team Bermuda. They were chosen based on their outstanding performances in the individual triathlon on Thursday [Erica 4th and Tyler 7th]. Again, congratulations to both of you!”
