Applications Open: Govt Boards & Committees
The Cabinet Office is advising that the “application process is currently open for those wishing to serve on Government boards and committees.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Expression of Interest [EOI] forms are now available on the Government website and can be completed and submitted electronically. The EOI forms can be accessed here.
“A Cabinet Office spokesperson noted that Government boards and committees play an important role in the community by ensuring good governance and effective oversight. Interested individuals should register today so that they can serve and make a difference in society.”
This sounds like the old Minister Without Portfolio Position. AKA Paycheck Without Job or Responsibility.
This is a waste of time
Qualified candidates need not apply
7 years and one person still finds time to vet each list and remove names that will not take orders
Any chance we can change the person who hand picks these lists each year?

How do I get selected to be on a board or committee?
To be selected, you must complete and submit a form. Once you submit the form, you will receive an email indicating that your request has been received. Your information will be kept on file. Only a Government minister can select you for a board or committee.

Is an open transparent face that the Premier (or either OBA or PLP government), will peruse the list of individuals selected by each of HIS Ministers and strike any names or individuals that may not be in step with the Administrations thinking
