The Shield Quarter-Final and Friendship Quarter-Finals took place his weekend, with St. David’s and PHC Zebras earning wins.
Shield Quarter-Final
St. David’s 5 – Southampton Rangers 2
St. David’s advanced to the Shield Semi-Final draw following their 5 – 2 win over the Southampton Rangers at the Somerset Cricket Club.
Kieshen Bean led St. David’s to victory with a hattrick, while Christen Lugo added the other two goals. The Southampton Rangers go single strikes from Cardel Henry and Donte Brangman.
Friendship Quarter-Final
Paget Lions 1 – PHC Zebras 2
The PHC Zebras remained on course to defend their title as they reached the Semi-Final draw following their 2 – 1 win over the Paget Lions at the Somerset Cricket Club.
Ahria Simons gave the PHC Zebras the lead in the 18th minute when he took a pass from a free kick and blasted a right-footed shot into the top corner of the net, in the 26th minute Julian Carpenter equalized for the Paget Lions, the two teams went to the break all even at 1 – 1.
Enrique Russell’s right-footed shot from the edge of the box in the 57th minute gave the PHC Zebras the lead and the win.
