Ministers Expand On Throne Speech Initiatives
The Government media has released two videos with Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Kathy Lynn Simmons and Minister of Education Diallo Rabain discussing Throne Speech initiatives.
A Government spokesperson said, “As the public is aware, the theme of this year’s Throne Speech is “Serving the People”. And strengthening and supporting the economy, infrastructure investment; improving service delivery in key areas; modernising public transport; and advancing key reforms in education and healthcare are some of the focused priorities for the Government in this upcoming legislative session.
“Recently, in two special Throne Speech editions of This Week in Government, the Minister of Education, the Hon. Diallo Rabain, JP, MP, and the Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs the Hon. Kathy Lynn Simmons, JP, MP discussed their respective Ministry initiatives. In the two separate interviews, topics covered included education reform, signature schools, supporting Bermuda’s public-school students, the legislative process and more.
