St David’s CC To Celebrate LeiLanni Nesbeth
The St. David’s County Cricket Club [SDCCC] will host an event to celebrate the accomplishments of LeiLanni Nesbeth.
A spokesperson said, “On Saturday, December 30, 2023 the St. David’s County Cricket Club [SDCCC] is celebrating our Warrior LeiLanni Nesbeth, member of Bermuda’s Senior Women’s National Team and [4] time, NCAA Division 1 National Champions Florida State University’s women’s soccer team and her final year as Captain.
“We are asking our St. David’s family and fans and any BFA women team fans to join our motorcade from St. David’s CCC starting at 4 p.m. After the motorcade, we will return to St. David’s CCC for an opportunity to meet and take photos with Leilanni and have her sign your favorite jersey or football.
“Leilanni started her football career with the St David’s Youth Athletics Program at the age of 6 and continued with us until the age of 13, participating in both football and cricket. She then received a scholarship to play both at Bede’s Senior School in the UK where she played for Brighton and Hove Albion and Sussex Girls Cricket Team. She then received a scholarship to play Division 1 college soccer at Florida State University, while completing her bachelor and master degrees in sports management. Leilanni is a class of 2023 graduate.”
