Specific Quaker Oats Products Recalled
The Ministry of Health has “been informed about the recall of specific granola bars and granola cereals by The Quaker Oats Company due to potential Salmonella contamination” and noted that “the authorized local distributor, Dunkley & Pioneer Dairies Ltd, has verified the removal of these products from the market.”
A Government spokesperson said, “Consumers are advised to return the affected items to the original store of purchase, accompanied by the purchase receipt. For further information, consumers can contact the customer service hotline at consumers.1800@pepsico.com.
“The products, detailed on www.quakergranolarecall.com, were manufactured in the United States and distributed to Bermuda. Quaker has not received any reports of illnesses associated with the withdrawn products to date. The Ministry of Health has not received any reports of illnesses related to these products.
