Ajani Burchall Makes Return From Injury For Villa
Ajani Burchall returned to action after a lengthy spell on the sidelines in Aston Villa under-21′s 1-1 draw against Fulham under-21 in the Premier League 2 in North Warwickshire on Friday.
Burchall, 19, posted a photograph of himself playing against Fulham Under-21 on X [formerly Twitter] with the caption, “17 months later”.
Villa under-21 drew 1-1 against Fulham under-21, with Burchall coming on as a second-half substitute.
The Bermudian, who suffered an anterior cruciate ligament tear and meniscus injury in training in August 2022, joined Villa from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee in November 2021.
He made one senior appearance for Bournemouth, coming on as a late substitute in a 5-0 win over Huddersfield Town in the Sky Bet Championship in December 2020.
