President’s Cup Road Race Concludes Season

The Bermuda’s Presidents Cup road race was held this weekend, marking an end to the road season.

A spokesperson said, “Braving a cold and blustery day by Bermuda standards, the Presidents Cup road race was a fitting end to the road season. The battle against the headwind along North Shore, crosswinds in Clearwater, and the rewarding tailwind down South Shore showcased the grit of our incredible riders.

“In a breakaway quartet, Kaden Hopkins, Nic Narraway, Conor White, and Zander Miller powered through, leaving the peloton in their wake coming out of Clearwater. Miller valiantly rode with them until Dockyard, where the trio of Hopkins, Narraway, and White surged ahead.

“Narraway’s strategic break on Harbour Road set the stage for a nail-biting sprint to the finish line, with Hopkins claiming victory in the Overall race and the Open Male category. Narraway secured an impressive second place, with White rounding out the podium in third.”
