Bermuda Sailors Compete In ILCA World Regatta
Three Bermuda sailors – Sebastian Kempe, Campbell Patton, and Malcolm Smith — are participating in the ILCA World Championship Sailing Regatta, hosted by Adelaide Sailing Club at West Beach, Australia.
On the first day, within a group of 151 competitors, Campbell Patton was the leading sailor from Bermuda, ranking 84th with a total of 54 points. He achieved this by finishing 23rd in the first race and 31st in the second.
Sebastian Kempe followed, positioned at 96th with 62 points, after securing 34th place in the first race and improving to 28th in the second.
Malcolm Smith completed the day in 118th place, accumulating 77 points. He crossed the finish line 37th in the initial race and 40th in the subsequent race.
