BermudAir will be expanding their destinations to include Baltimore and Orlando, with service set to start in March 2024.

A spokesperson said, “BermudAir, Bermuda’s premier boutique airline, today announced the addition of Baltimore and Orlando to its growing route network, now serving five key U.S. East Coast cities, and offering greater connectivity to Bermuda.

“Travelers can enjoy direct flights with an average flight time of just two hours from Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport [BWI] to Bermuda starting March 18, with service commencing from Orlando International Airport [MCO] on March 26.

“Tickets are on sale now, and to celebrate the new routes, BermudAir is offering special fares on all its routes until January 31 2024, starting at $99 one-way from the U.S. and $199 one-way from Bermuda, including taxes.

“As the first Bermuda-based airline with year-round service, BermudAir continues to redefine travel, providing seamless connectivity between Bermuda, the U.S. East Coast and South Florida. Baltimore serves as a strategic gateway to the vibrant Baltimore, Northern Virginia, and Washington, D.C. metropolitan areas.

“This expansion not only enhances two-way traffic but solidifies BermudAir’s presence in this crucial East Coast corridor and provides greater connections and convenience. Additionally, the new Orlando service complements BermudAir’s existing service in Fort Lauderdale, providing a robust Florida presence and facilitating more direct connectivity and flights between the sunshine state and Bermuda.”

“The addition of Baltimore and Orlando to our network, subject to imminent final regulatory approval, is a clear indicator of BermudAir’s ongoing growth,” said Adam Scott, Founder and CEO of BermudAir.

“This expansion demonstrates our dedication to meeting our passengers’ needs and strategically enhancing our service offerings, based on continual market feedback and evaluation. It’s a significant step that elevates BermudAir to new levels of service and reach.”

“BermudAir will operate Embraer E175 aircraft on the routes, featuring a dual-class cabin, with 14 seats in a business cabin and 52 seats in an economy cabin. Committed to delivering a premium in-flight experience, both cabins will provide superior customer service, complimentary food and beverage service [inclusive of alcohol], and exceptional comfort throughout the journey.

“The business cabin service will offer increased booking flexibility, higher checked baggage allowances, preferential fare conditions for changes and cancellations, and more.

Well done, BermudaAir. I particularly like the addition of Baltimore as a destination.

  2. Mark says:

That’s great although I didn’t know there was any market for either of those places. Especially considering you already fly to fort lauterdale re Orlando but what about Canada?!!?!! There is definitely market share there. Toronto or Montreal or even Halifax would be sold out every flight!

  3. Christopher Dymond says:

Good news – there is definitely an under served market in the Washington DC / Baltimore area.

  4. Eddie Lewis says:

With the number of Bermudians visiting the Disney parks and others, this is a brilliant decision and is sure to be a success!

Surely the naysayers, who for the most part know very little about starting an airline, have retreated from this issue.
Clearly, the leaders of this effort do their homework and are working artfully in a tough environment. They know that the fastest way to become a millionaire is to enter the airline business as a billionaire!

    • Truth says:

The fastest way to become a billionaire in Bermuda, is to become premier :)

      • Dr. the Hon. Ewart F. Brown says:

        Really? Can you name one?

        • Dr. the Hon. king chief of Bermy says:

Yes, but you wouldn’t know him….you don’t ‘run’ in the same circles. LOL

      • X UBPOBA voter says:

The fastest way to lose as a political party, is to change your name from UBP to OBA in 1 night and say it’s not the same party. LMAO

        • Joe Bloggs says:

But the UBP did not change its name to OBA.

You are either paid to spread lies or you do not know anything about Bermuda.

The fastest way to destroy the jewel of the Atlantic, is to vote for the bigots in the plp.

          • Dr. Ewart Brown says:

Or is it to take too long to neutralize the bigots who were in charge BEFORE the PLP?

            • Truth says:

The bigots who were in government before the plp, are currently ‘governing’ in the plp.

I know you don’t live here, but DO try to keep up.

        • TRUTH says:

Hmm and don’t forget a few sprinkles of surrogates.

          • Lol says:

            What are surrogates?
Are they people who have been unwilling coerced into doing something they don’t want to do?

You won’t answer though, you’re a trumper. LOL

  6. Computer Guy says:

This…this right here. People have been asking for direct flights to Halifax (especially) for years and more competition to Toronto would be great. Air canada pretty much has the monopoly for the route as Westjet has become seasonal.
