Desmond & Fordham Earn 6th Dual Meet Sweep
Brian Desmond and the Fordham swimming & diving team achieved their sixth dual meet sweep of the season, triumphing in both competitions against the Iona Gaels at Hynes Center Pool.
The Fordham men’s team, with Desmond as a key member, enhanced their season record to 6-1 following a 162-126 win against Iona.
In the Fordham men’s 200 yard medley Relay, Desmond swam the final leg for the C team, which secured 5th place with a finish time of 1:39.51. Competing in the men’s 100 yard backstroke, Desmond recorded a time of 56.89, placing him 5th in the event.
