Football: Berkeley Wins BSSF Knock-Out Final
The Berkeley Institute won the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Senior School Girls Knock-Out Cup football final after defeating Warwick Academy 2 – 1.
Evans Welch gave Berkeley the lead with a long range effort which caught the Warwick goalkeeper off her line. Ayshalay Simons equalized minutes before the half scoring directly from a corner.
Keyandae Lightbourne would score the winner ten minutes into the second half by tapping in a rebound.
MVPs for the match were Kalila Daley from the Berkeley Institute and Warwick goalkeeper Giana Cedenio.
