Netball: Warwick Win BSSF Primary Title
Warwick Academy were crowned the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Primary School Division One Netball champions at the Bernard Park Netball courts.
Warwick Academy edged past Northlands Primary 5 – 4 in a very close encounter. Quin Burgess scored four goals to lead Warwick with Francesca Cressall-Haycock scoring the other. Sofia Odouri led Northlands with three goals with Femi Jae Clarke adding the other.
Warwick defeated Saltus Grammar School 5 – 1 in their semi-final behind three more goals from Burgess. Northlands defeated West Pembroke 7 – 2 in the other semi-final. Clarke led Northlands this time with four goals with Odouri scoring three. Keziah Symonds-Smith and Cataleya McCallan each scored for West Pembroke.
