Saundre “Dash” Simmons is scheduled to return to the ring for his second professional boxing bout in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on February 10.
The Bermudian made his debut on December 17, ruthlessly knocking out American Tre Baker inside two rounds in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“I’m ready to go now. I want to be 8-0 by the end of next year,” Simmons told Bernews after the fight. “It’s about lining them up and knocking them down. I want to keep the fights coming.
“I want to be ranked [in the top 25 nationally] by the end of the next year – that’s the aim.”
Born in Lancaster, Massachusetts, Simmons was raised by his Bermudian parents in Somerset before moving to Asheville, North Carolina, with his mother when he was 12.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a successful amateur career, placing runner-up at the USA National Boxing Championships in Louisiana and the Golden Gloves of America in Oklahoma in 2021.
