Two Swimmers In Action At College Meet
Two Bermuda swimmers were in action at a recent college meet, with Caleb Ingham and the La Salle men’s swim and dive team triumphing over Brian Desmond and the Fordham men’s swim and dive team with a score of 169-129.
In the men’s 200 yard medley relay, Ingham contributed as the third swimmer for La Salle’s B team, which secured 3rd place with a time of 1:34.19. Desmond, competing in the men’s 100 yard backstroke, achieved 3rd place with a time of 53.20.
In the men’s 50 yard freestyle, Ingham recorded a time of 21.39, landing him in 3rd place. He also competed in the men’s 100 yard freestyle, finishing 5th with a time of 48.35.
Desmond completed the men’s 200 yard backstroke in 1:59.79, finishing 6th.
In the men’s 400 yard freestyle relay, Ingham swam the final leg for La Salle’s B team, which finished 5th with a time of 3:13.74.
