Ball Hockey Double Header: Appleby & ACT Win
In the latest round of Bermuda ball hockey action at the PCC Hockey Rink, a total of 14 goals were scored in a doubleheader.
Spine and Sport 2 Appleby 4
In the opener, Appleby defeated Spine and Sport 4 – 2. Appleby took the lead in the first period with a goal off the stick of James Amaral.
Shannon Gosse doubled the Appleby lead in the second period, but Russ Rufiange pulled a goal back for Spine and Sport as the period ended with Appleby leading 2 – 1.
Rufiange drew Spine and Sports level in the third period, but Gosse would strike twice in the period to complete his hat-trick for Appleby.
Positive Image Dental 1 ACT 7
In the nightcap, ACT defeated Positive Image Dental 7 – 1. ACT would get four goals from Christopher Jackson and a hat-trick off the stick of Sean McNulty, Ryan Bates scored the lone goal for Positive Image Dental.
