Caitlyn Bobb Wins Track Performer Of The Week
Caitlyn Bobb earned the Track Performer of the Week award from the America East Conference.
She competes for the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and their report said, “The America East Conference tabbed Caitlyn Bobb as the Track Performer of the Week for her efforts at the Penn State National Meet on Jan. 27.
“Against a stellar field, Bobb took second place in the 400m with a time of 54.08. This time ranked her first in the conference, third in the Mid-Atlantic region and in the top-50 nationally at 46th. She also helped lead the Retrievers to a second place finish in the 4x400m.
“The school record-holder in the 400, Bobb anchored the relay with a 53.32 split. The Retriever quartet of Leanne McDonald, Genelle Stephens, Shannel Sibblies and Bobb crossed the line at 3:44.07, which lists them at the top of the America East leaderboard and fifth in the Mid-Atlantic region.”
