Footballers in the First Division were in action this weekend, with the Robin Hood and Boulevard Blazers both earning wins, while another match ended in a draw.
Robin Hood 9 – Ireland Rangers 0
At the BAA field, Robin Hood kept their promotion hopes alive with a 9 – 0 win over Ireland Rangers.
Clay Darrell would lead the way when he scored 4 times, Jessie Seymour added two goals, while Zia Smith, Vance Hill, and Edivaldo Abroaches all added a goal each.
Boulevard Blazers 3 – Somerset Eagles 1
The Boulevard Blazers defeated the Somerset Eagles 3 – 1 at the BAA field.
After a scoreless first half, Terrance Stovell gave the Boulevard Blazers the lead in the 60th minute, three minutes later it was 2 – 0, when Darius Cox scored, Marcus Iris-Simmons pulled a goal back for the Somerset Eagles in the 80th minute, however Ian Coke made it 3 – 1 in stoppage time.
Wolves 3 – Southampton Rangers 3
The Southampton Rangers jumped out to a 3 – 0 lead in the first half, only to allow Wolves to score three goals in the second half as the teams drew 3 – 3 at Bernard’s Park.
The Southampton Rangers would get two goals from Jahni Bean and a single strike from Malachi Jones, as they went to the break with a big lead, but Sergio Richardson would score two goals for Wolves, and Tyree Robinson scored 5 minutes into stoppage time to earn Wolves the draw.
