Football: Bermuda Under-20 Lose To Martinique
The Bermuda Under-20 national team have lost 2-1 to ten-man Martinique at the SKNFA Technical Centre in Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis, today [February 26].
Bermuda, who beat Grenada 2-1 in their group F opener on Saturday, fell behind in the 33rd minute when Hervinsonn Gervais opened the scoring.
Awon Guillaume doubled Martinique’s advantage in the 63rd minute before Bermuda’s Riley Robinson reduced the deficit scoring directly from a corner in the 82nd minute.
Martinique were reduced to ten men when Gervais was dismissed a minute later.
Bermuda face Jamaica in their final group game on Wednesday.
