Ball Hockey Double Header: CG & Appleby Win
The latest round of Bermuda ball hockey action at the PCC Hockey Rink saw a total of 25 goals scored in a doubleheader.
Positive Image Dental 6 CG 8
In the opener, CG defeated Positive Image Dental 8 – 6. CG was led to victory with 5 goals from Jeremy Estey, John Duda added 2 goals, and Chris Cairns scored the other. Matt Mcphail and Shane Matchett scored two goals each for Positive Image Dental, while Jeoffrey Chisnell and David Campbell added a goal each.
BDA Spirits 5 Appleby 6
In the nightcap, Appleby edged BDA Spirits 6-5, neither team scored a goal in the first period before Appleby held a 2 – 1 lead after the second period. The third and final period saw both teams score 4 times with Appleby holding on for the win.
Shannon Gosse scored four times for Appleby who would also get single strikes from Kyle Harvey and Ryan Marshall, while JM Trembley scored a hat-trick for BDA Spirits, with Nathan Ische and Adam Mattatall adding a goal each.
