Nyori Dill Picked For Morocco Tournament
Nyori Dill, an International Development Academy [IDA] Bermuda footballer, has been selected to represent the Surf National Select 2010 boys’ white team at a tournament in Morocco this summer.
Dill, who attends Whitney Institute Middle School, was among several players from the IDA-Bermuda and Warwick Academy High Performance programme that competed at the Surf Nation Champions League in San Diego, California, last month.
Roman Wilkinson, who is part of the Saltus Grammar School Elite Athlete Programme and North Village, has been selected to the standby reserve list.
Richard Todd, the IDA head coach, wrote on Facebook: “Congrats to both boys on their outstanding performance at the ID event, where they stood out amongst over 540-plus players.
“Those players not selected for events this summer will have benefited from the experience in California and hopefully will return to future ID events for a chance to be selected.”
