Police: Do Not Share Video Of Firearms Incident
Noting they are “aware of a video clip of the firearms incident” which occurred on Court Street this weekend being circulated on social media, the police said ”sharing these images could hamper that investigation” and urged people to please not share it.
A police spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Police Service is aware of a video clip of the firearms incident which occurred on Court Street in the early hours of Sunday, March 10, 2024, now being circulated on social media.
“We wish to remind that this matter remains under investigation and sharing these images could hamper that investigation.
“Not to mention, the images are quite disturbing and would no doubt be of concern to the victim and those close to him.
“We strongly urge that should you receive this video clip, you immediately delete it from your device and not share it on.”
A 38-year-old man was injured in the shooting.
