North Village Going To FA Challenge Cup Final
The North Village Rams stayed the course in defending their FA Challenge Cup title as they advanced to the final following their 3-1 win over the Devonshire Cougars at the PHC Stadium.
The Devonshire Cougars starting line up included Keitaro Darrell, Zeko White, Quadir Maynard [Elisha Darrell 71st], Llineiko Millett, Lejuan Simmons, Jonas Schroder [Jazario Brimmer 82nd], Simeon Burrows [Jayori Fox 71st], Domico Coddington, Demetre Daniels, Damien Simmons, Jecoa Thomas – Substitutes: – Jahdae Wade, Nyeem Simmons, Zion Simmons, and Mikel Thomas.
The North Village Rams starting line up included Detre Bell, Tah-mi Williams, Tarreko Wilson, Jai Bean, Adio Deshields [Jaizel Smith Deshields 61st], London Steede [Tariq Bean 71st], Khimo Harrison [Tre Ming 84th], Daion Swan-DaSilva [Liam Evans 84th], Jalen Harvey, Troy Tucker, and Kyler Knights.
The North Village Rams took the lead in the 29th minute when Jai Bean scored from the penalty spot following a foul in the box. The Devonshire Cougars were level in the 33rd minute when Domico Coddington converted from the spot after a foul in the box. The two teams went to the break with the score even at 1 – 1.
The North Village Rams got back in front in the 58th minute when Bean headed in from close range, and when substitute Jaizel Smith Deshields scored for the North Village Rams in the 81st minute they earned their spot in the final.
