Single-Lane Closure: North Shore Road
Various sections of the Northbound lane of North Shore Road along Shelly Bay will have a single-lane closure to facilitate the removal of pest vegetation on the Sundays of April and May, beginning on April 7th, 2024.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works wishes to inform the public that various sections of the Northbound lane of North Shore Road along Shelly Bay will have a single-lane closure to accommodate the above-noted works. Work will be done in approximately 100-foot-long sections for approximately 600 feet along the subject stretch.
“The work zone extends in a Northerly direction from Stone haven Road at the Southern end to approximately 210 feet North of Commonland Point Road at the Northern end.
“The lane closures will occur on the Sundays of April and May, beginning on April 7th, 2024, weather permitting.
“The work shall take place between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
“The Contractor’s representatives will close the lane and manage the traffic flow with ‘Stop/Go’ signs or temporary lights. No vehicular access will be granted through the closed lane for safety purposes.
“Any questions or concerns regarding the lane closure should be directed to Mr. JM Colmet at the Ministry of Public Works at 501-3122.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the public’s full cooperation, and we apologise in advance for any inconvenience this lane closure may cause.”
