2024 Ag Show Draws Thousands Of Attendees
The 2024 Agricultural Exhibition drew thousands of attendees on each of the three days that the event was held.
Acting Minister of Public Works Michael Weeks said, “As we reflect on the success of this year’s Agricultural Exhibition, we are reminded of the traditions and culture that define our community.”
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the three-day annual Agricultural Exhibition this past weekend.
“The event, organised by the Department of Parks, witnessed a turnout that reflects its status as a cornerstone event that brings together the community to celebrate agriculture and craftsmanship in Bermuda.
“The attendance figures for the event are as follows:
- Thursday: 1,004 adults and 1,042 children/seniors attended.
- Friday: 2,540 adults and 3,342 children/seniors attended.
- Saturday: 2,291 adults and 1,103 children/seniors attended.
“The Ministry thanks everyone who attended the Exhibition, the participating vendors, and the numerous entries received.
“The event’s success was made possible not only by the attendees, but also by the invaluable contributions of the volunteers. Thanks to the Department of Parks for their organisation and effort in hosting this cherished event.”
Minister Weeks said, “The Ministry looks forward to continuing this tradition and invites everyone to join us in future celebrations that showcase the best of Bermuda’s agricultural and artisanal talents.”
