Special Olympics Athletes Confirmed For Meet
Eight athletes from Special Olympics Bermuda will perform in front of a home crowd for the first time at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix at the Flora Duffy Stadium today [April 28].
The Special Olympics Celebration will run from 3.45 pm to 4.30 pm and feature Eleah Basden, Kemari Dill, Derek Ingram, Micah Lambert, Zafar O’Loughlin, Iyon Simmons, Exodus Somner and Eden Woollery.
Simmons will also race in the Fastest Kid on de Rock final from 3 pm to 3.30 pm.
All eight athletes will compete in a co-ed 200 metres race and a unified 4×100 relay with local elite athletes.
