Traffic Diversions In Paget Due To Sewer Issue
There are “major traffic diversions currently in effect” on Point Finger Road in Paget “due to a significant sewer issue,” the City said today.
A spokesperson said, “The Corporation of Hamilton wishes to inform the public of major traffic diversions currently in effect on Point Finger Road in Paget, right outside of the hospital, due to a significant sewer issue. Relevant agencies are on site addressing the situation.
“Motorists are advised to expect delays and to seek alternative routes where possible. Businesses and residents in the affected area should take all necessary precautions.
“The Corporation is working diligently to resolve the issue and restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time and will provide updates as more information becomes available.”
