Traffic: Railway Trail Closure For SailGP Event
The Ministry of Public Works is informing the public that the Railway Trail between George’s Bay Road and Elm Lane will be closed to accommodate the SailGP event.
A Government spokesperson said, “This section of the Railway Trail will be closed from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm on Saturday, May 4th, 2024 and from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday, May 5th, 2024.
“Traffic control for the road closure will be managed by SailGP representatives with signs and barricades.
“Any questions or concerns regarding the road closure should be directed to Schereene Outerbridge at #707-1300.
“The Ministry of Public Works encourages the public’s full cooperation, and we apologise for any inconvenience this railway trail closure may cause.”
