Wilton Re Donates $5,000 To Menuhin Foundation
Wilton Reinsurance Bermuda has donated $5,000 to the Menuhin Foundation.
A spokesperson said, “The Menuhin Foundation has supported thousands of Bermuda’s school children since 1976 as part of their vision to ensure “that all children will have access to the unique, social, emotion and intellectual benefits of learning to play a stringed instrument and develop a lifelong appreciate for music”. Their mission is “to provide opportunities for learning, performance and access to instruments regardless of background and resources.”

Sylvia Oliveira, CEO of Wilton Re Bermuda said, “As a violinist and active member of the Bermuda Philharmonic, I can especially appreciate the value of learning to play a stringed instrument and The Menuhin Foundation’s commitment to our schoolchildren is to be lauded and supported.”
