Basden Advances To FHSAA 1A Championships
Cameron Basden represented Foundation Academy at the FHSAA 1A region 2 track & field meet hosted at the Mount Dora Track in Florida.
Basden competed in three events and qualified for state championships in all three events.
Basden finished in 2nd place in the boy’s long jump, leaping a school record 6.81m.
During the boy’s triple jump, Basden recorded a top leap of 12.74m to finish in 3rd place and he also ran the third leg for the Foundation Academy’s boys’ 4 x 400 relay team that finished 4th clocking 3:34.13.
