Bermudiana Road Closed This Weekend
The City of Hamilton advised that Bermudiana Road will be closed to traffic this weekend due to ongoing works to replace the sewer line.
A spokesperson said, “Work is scheduled to start at 7:00am on the mornings of Saturday May 11th and Sunday May 12th and will conclude Sunday afternoon at 5:00pm. Bermudiana Road will be open to the motoring public on the morning of Monday, May 13th.
“This is the final portion of trenching along Bermudiana Road for this project.
“The city apologises for any inconvenience caused and asks that the public exercises caution when entering this area over the weekend. Signage will be placed at the junction.
“The city appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation during this time as we work to improve the city infrastructure along Bermudiana Road.”
