Crime Stoppers Remind Public Of $5,000 Reward
Crime Stoppers Bermuda said they “would like to remind the community that they are here to assist members of the public to report anonymously what they know or have seen in relation to a crime.”
A spokesperson said, “We are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction, or the seizure of a firearm.”
$5,000 is not enough for someone to consider “snitching,” even when the crime affects their own people. Maybe raise the reward to $10,000, and you’ll get more information from the people. Your current reward is peanuts in most people’s eyes since they believe they’ll be labeled a snitch.
“Maybe raise the reward to $10,000, and you’ll get more information ”
$10,000 and relocation to the UK, maybe. $10,000 does not go that far in Bermuda.
How many millions of dollars did our CCTV system cost?
How large again is the BPS force?
How is it possible that our highly educated BPS management has not come up with a shift schedule that maximizes the oversized force to crush crime?
