MSA To Host First 5K ‘Color Me’ Run/Walk Event
Mount Saint Agnes Academy announced its first 5k Color Me Run/Walk on May 31, with a route through several roads and a celebration with food and entertainment.
A spokesperson said, “MSA is thrilled to announce its inaugural 5k Color Me Run/Walk on Friday, May 31, starting at 6:00 pm, followed by a celebration in our MSA Courtyard. As participants walk or run each mile, they will be powdered with a different [washable] color, adding to the fun and excitement! The school announced that its route will take our walkers and runners on Dundonald, Cedar Avenue, St John’s Road, Pitts Bay Road, Serpentine Road, and Woodlands Road and asks that motorists please take care when passing, as young families will be participating.
“The post-Run/Walk celebration will feature bouncy castles, food trucks and drinks available for purchase and donation. There will also be a DJ, ensuring a lively atmosphere. Partnering on this event with MSA are DeGraff’s Lunch Wagon, J&B’s Wood-Fired Pizza, Trini Spice, the MSA National Honor Society providing snow cones, Casa dos Açores who will be making their famous fresh, hot malasadas and the MSA Alumni Association. The Run-Walk sponsored by: Luso, providing the water for water stops, and Bermuda Rentals, for providing the bouncy castles and equipment.
