Paradise Scents Store To Shift Focus Online
After nearly a decade in business, Paradise Scents will close its doors at the end of May 2024, transitioning to an online store on Hook.bm.
A spokesperson said, “After opening their doors in 2015, Paradise Scents will be closing their doors at the end of May 2024.”
The owner/operator, Kim Smith is stepping back to be able to prioritize matters that require flexibility with time, saying, “I’m going to miss the face-to-face with all my customers the most. Frequent customers became friends and were treated like family.”
The family owned scent shop will now be an online store through the Hook.bm shopping platform. Customers will still be able to reach someone via social media or by telephone for customer support.
She added, “Top tier customer service has always been a must for me. I was told I spoil my customers but I’m just doing what I love. You should leave feeling good about your purchase.”
They will continue to offer Bath & Body Works, Victoria’s Secret and Dr. Teal’s on the island. Gift baskets will be available for purchase online as well. Next day delivery will be island wide.
“Witnessing customers major milestones has been beautiful. Couples have gone from dating to marriage. Kids have grown to young adults. Graduations from high school and college. Newborns going from a snugglie to starting Primary School,” Ms Smith said.
A spokesperson said, “The retail store will open on occasion for in-person shopping but not often. Paradise Scents thanks the community for its support and looks forward to this new venture online.”
