RUBiS Rewards Programme To Be Discontinued
RUBiS Energy Bermuda will discontinue their current Rewards programme on May 31, 2024.
A spokesperson said, “RUBiS Energy Bermuda announces that their Rewards programme, in its current format, will cease operating at 11:59PM on Friday, 31st May 2024.
“RUBiS Rewards began in February 2011, with over 14,500 Reward members engaged with the program. In the past 13 years, RUBiS has issued over 97,000 Rewards in free fuel, totalling in excess of $1,000,000.
“Unfortunately, as the current format was heavily dependent upon multiple on-site hardware components, since the COVID-19 Pandemic, these assets have been difficult to procure.
“The plan is to reintroduce RUBiS Rewards as a mobile-based loyalty programme in a few months using a new App which will prove to be more accessible and convenient for their Rewards members.
“The new RUBiS Rewards App, when released, will allow Rewards members to receive communication and promotional offers directly to their mobile device. The new App is very near to completion, with the iOS App to be unveiled first, followed by the Google Play version.
“The Evolution of the RUBiS Rewards will require upgraded POS technology at a number of service stations to allow for seamless communication between the App and the station’s POS consoles and pumps.
“Once the App is ready, and available for deployment, the roll-out will begin in phases with select stations that have the upgraded technology in place.
“We want to assure all RUBiS Rewards members that if you have any coupons that have been printed prior to11:59 PM on the 31st May 2024, those coupons will be honoured if they are redeemed before the printed expiration date on the coupon.
“RUBiS wants to thank all of their members for their patience, understanding and loyalty whilst we finalize the evolution of the program to a new mobile-based platform. We are confident that this new version will provide you with a better interface to engage with the program and permit real-time access to your rewards [both earned and won].
